I did it!  I did a LIVE show on Poshmark!

I just decided to try it and see what happens.  Thankfully, only a couple of people showed up for any length of time.

My husband was out of the house for a few hours so I thought it would be a good time to try and do a Live show.

I set up my tiny room as best I could with lighting.  I selected 15 items and made sure all were numbered and in order of the line up I put in the show.

I used my phone as the camera and set it up in the middle of the ring light.  Then, I set up my show on my phone and logged in on my tablet too.

I was not sure how this would go but I wanted to auction the items from the tablet and read the comments from there too but I ended up using my phone by reaching it from my seat.

Knowing what to say did not come naturally to me.  I also could not tell if the mic and camera were actually on.  I hope people saw what was available.

There is a learning curve.

1.  Set the auction for at least 1 minute! 30 seconds is not enough time.

2.  Show and talk about the item and then auction it.

3.  Keep camera far enough back so the item can be seen.

4.  Have a giveaway to get people into the show.

5.  Tell about your stats and closet

I wasn't sure what to share about myself but I did manage to share that I am a retired teacher, have done theater, and am writing a blog about my Poshmark experiences.

I hope this helps generate some sales or I may as well stick to silent shows.

Poshmark gives me more of a chance at sales. Just stay active! There have been some changes lately but so far it feels like it is all good ...
